This tree just happens to be 10 feet from our house. Apparently 10 feet was close enough to wreak a small amount of havoc on Chris' work computer. 10 feet was definitely close enough to make up jump out of our skin. This is the second ultra-close lightning strike on Chris' side of the family in 2 weeks. S, K, & J...you might want to keep an eye on the sky. I'm just sayin'....

You forget that lightning has already struck near our house...it hit the house across the street from us a year or two ago and caught it on fire! Now, I'll grant you it's more than 10 feet, but it's still within a stone's throw!
