I just had the nicest man come to our house to tell me it would cost $350 to cut down the pine tree that is blocking our satellite dish. Telling a woman, with a guilty conscience about cutting down a tree, that it will cost that much to murder aforementioned tree is not a good idea, sir. It needs to be done, in all honesty, to maintain the head of the household's sanity. But really? $350? Anyway, to ease my guilty conscience a bit, I would like to share this link with you. Whether or not you actually save energy by using their search page, I have no idea. Sounds like an interesting concept anyway.
I'm really not that distraught about cutting down the tree. I mean, pine trees are really the red-headed step-kids in the tree family anyway, right? (my apologies to all red-headed step-kids) But, I am Super Treehugger Lady's kid. So, there is a twinge.
