Goings-On

So, I obviously haven't had too much going on worth writing about lately. Or maybe I'm just lazy. Probably more of the latter. Anyway, we had a great weekend last weekend in Georgia. I took nary a picture.

Sadie went to Baylee's birthday party Friday night and then to a Taylor Swift concert on Saturday. She had a blast at her first concert ever. Maybe I'll get to go to the next one with her. I'm sort of sad that I won't ever get the opportunity to sleep outside of a department store with her in order to get front row seats for her favorite band. Darned technology! Back in the good ol' days we had to work for things! But I digress...

Chris and I also had a blast. We went to the Auburn/Tennessee game with Mom and Dad. I spent a lot of time with my hands on my head and I'm pretty sure there was a spike on my blood pressure graph during the game. It was one of the worst games I have seen. We won, but it was ugly. Sitting right next to the TN band and having to listen to "Rocky Top" a million times didn't help matters. I would rather listen to "Yea Alabama". You can quote me on that. Anyway, the atmosphere and company were great and I really enjoyed tailgating on campus. It was fun to be back. Oh, and Chris cheered for Auburn and wore a blue and white striped shirt. I have etched that memory in my mind for all time. I had to because I DIDN'T TAKE A PICTURE! I have to say thanks to Kim and Kendall for entertaining my child all weekend. I didn't mean to just dump her and disappear. I'll make it up to you.

Chris is leaving today for a weekend fishing trip (his last hurrah before it gets too cold to fish...or so he says. I seem to remember him telling me one time that it's NEVER too cold to fish). Sadie and I are having a garage sale tomorrow. If you're bored, come buy some of my junk!
